About: Cryo Fuel is a premiere Cryotherapy facility offering full body Cryotherapy, infrared, and CryoSkin services. The new CryoSkin 2.0 treatment is said to naturally destroy fat cells, remove cellulite and reduce the signs of aging. When putting these services together, Cryo Fuel reports higher energy, a sharper mind, and more toned body.
Vibes: Cryo Fuel is a small intimate space. Modern and contemporary aesthetics with stark contrasting shades of black, white, and white marble (our favorite). We were super into the vibes. Upon arrival, the music is bumping! It was busy during our visit so we did feel slightly crowded at times.
Lobby: The lobby is small with a few seats. The staff at the front is also administering the Cryotherapy treatments. They greeted us before taking another client back and let us know about the wait.
Bathroom/Locker Room: There are a few rooms down a narrow hallway. The full body Cryo room, Cryo 2.0 room (where we changed, no dressing rooms were available at the time), Infrared Sauna, 2 Changing Rooms, and a single (v cute) bathroom.
Treatment Room: The full body Cryotherapy treatment room was directly off the lobby. It was small yet comfortable, housing the Chamber as the main attraction.

The Main Event- Behind the Scenes
The Set Up:
The Treatment: Full Body Cryo
After stepping into the chamber, you de-robe and they raise you up slightly. Each session is 3 minutes long and can get as cold as -250 degrees Fahrenheit. As the temperature drops, it feels a bit like pins and needles. The freezing temperature activates your “fight or flight” response, sending more blood to your organs, causing vasoconstriction (AKA your blood pressure to increase). When the treatment is over, your body begins to warm to reverse the process (enter vasodilation, which decreases your blood pressure) increasing blood flow and oxygen. The Fine Print:
-In this Cryotherapy chamber your head is exposed, therefore making it easier to take calm (yet very cold!) breaths
-Remove all jewelry before entering the chamber
-Make sure to be completely dry before your session (no sweat either!)
-There are no real restrictions on eating or drinking after Cryotherapy but do make sure you are nourished and hydrated beforehand
-You can workout pre and post Cryotherapy, but a post workout is highly recommended to capitalize on the benefits from your treatment (hello increased energy)! If you prefer to work out prior to Cryo, just make sure your body temperature has cooled down and that you’re fully dry.
The Afterglow- Our Thoughts
How We Felt:
COLD! In all honesty, the major feeling is a flood of endorphins as the temperature dropped. We feel like we can do most anything for three minutes, and this did go by quickly. It’s not until the last minute where we really felt the shivering, and moving (or dancing) throughout the treatment helped. When the treatment was finished, we felt almost numb, and it took a few minutes for the feeling in our limbs to return. Post Cryo we felt energized, and though we didn’t sleep noticeably better that night (this is a benefit that comes over time), we did feel muscle and joint relief the next day.
Would We Do It Again:
YES! That’s the thing with Cryotherapy, this really is not a one and done treatment, which is why the benefits are truly realized by those who receive treatments on a regular basis.
