Happy Sunday babes! We’re sharing some neighborhood love for Lower Manhattan this weekend! While you may still think of FIDI as being nothing but banks and corporate buildings, we highly recommend taking the trip down to check out all the beauty and fun that lower Manhattan has to offer! From Brookfield Place on the west side to Seaport/Pier 17 on the east side and everything in between, we’re listing out some of our favorite spots to check out this weekend, especially while the weather is still so nice!
Brookfield Place– Located right on the Hudson River where you’ll often find beautiful yachts docked (Wolf of Wall Street style), tons of amazing shopping and restaurants. While malls aren’t really a thing here in NY, Brookfield place definitely feels like the closest thing to one. Our favorite spot for a casual lunch is at Le District. We love sitting at the lounge section on the patio at for some oysters and rose!
Battery Park City- We’ve listed out some of our favorite restaurants in this area before going to see a movie at Regal Battery Park Cinemas (who else loves dinner and a movie date nights?! Our favorite during fall/winter- so cozy!)
- El Vez
- Shake Shack
- Wei West
- Blue Smoke
- The Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar
Treadwell Park– Tis’ the season for football and beer! Treadwell is our favorite bar to go to with our boys where they can watch all the football their heart’s desire and we get to play games like ping pong and Jenga! (Which gets increasingly fun a couple of beers s in!)
Seaport District– This is probably our favorite area in FIDI! Complete with the cutest cobblestone streets, restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and an outdoor garden bar where concerts and outdoor movie nights are also played, this is one of our favorite places to just hang out! Some of our favorite places include:
- Malibu Farm (just opened last week!)
- The Fulton
- The Tuck Room (then check out a movie at iPic!)
- Southstreet Seaport Museum
- The Rooftop at Pier 17
- Industry Kitchen
Let us know if there are any other places we need to check out! We love exploring our NYC neighborhoods!
All things beautiful,
