Can you even believe this delish Latte was made at home?! @scaleola has all the gadgets and has turned into a real at home Batista. Thinking we can dub him The Barista Babe and he can keep us posted on all of his creations,but I digress. It’s basically pumpkin spiced season so wanted to share a few of my favorite things!

GROUNDING 🙏🏼 Some way some how, I find a minute to ground myself each day. Especially when things get super chaotic, taking the 5 minutes via one of the below tips drastically help better my mood, and decrease stress/anxiety. Grounding helps me to stay calm and adaptable (which mamas, we esp need this as we realize many things are out of our control).

Grounding helps me to show up each day as a better me, realize what I can and cannot control and be ok with the craziness and unpredictability of daily life. Most of all grounding allows us to feel present. To feel solid in the moment, therefore giving the ability to make smarter, happier, and more conscious decisions. Here are a few of the ways I try to ground myself each day.

🙏🏼Morning devotional with your cup of coffee (I love Journey to the Heart)
🙏🏼A warm cup of tea in the afternoon (warmness helps to ground)
🙏🏼Take an hour off your phone and screen (even 15 minutes helps!) + add a quick meditation with breath work
🙏🏼Take a short walk (outside if possible with bare feet to quite literally feel the ground)
🙏🏼Take a bath or shower
🙏🏼Do a flow (@melissawoodhealth is especially helpful for me when I’m in need of grounding)

HYDRATION STATION We all know that dehydration is a major cause of ailments and discomfort in skin, body, and mind health. Water is the most important nutrient to keep everything running smoothly. It aids in digestion, regulates temperature, delivers oxygen, helps our brains with hormone production/regulation, keeps cells reproducing and delivers the nutrients from all that we eat.

And yet so many of us are walking around dehydrated without even knowing it. Do you ever feel forgetful and lacking concentration? Or feel tired (esp later in the day) for no reason? These are all signs of dehydration. So how can we increase our hydration? Here are a few tips and products that help me stay hydrated throughout the day and some of my favorite skincare products for hydration as well!

💦 Before anything else in the morning, drink water! This means pre coffee. I drink a glass, then do my morning routine (saved in highlights).
💦 Continue drinking earlier in the day, it get’s harder as the day picks up and goes on!
💦 Drink half your body weight in oz of water. So for a 130lb person that’s around 8 glasses or 65oz
💦 If you’re tired in the afternoon grab a cup of water before coffee or food. See if you feel better after a few minutes.
💦 Herbal tea, and flavored/sparkling water, can count toward water consumption. More than a cup of coffee, soda, and alcohol don’t count (these are actually diuretics that remove water from your body!) Drink an extra cup of water for each of the drinks mentioned above to balance.
💦 Fill your bottle/glass every time you go to the restroom, hey it’s an easy way to remember! I like the large bottles/big jugs, or cups so I am not filling EVERY time.

Got to sneak out for a date night tonight, and met such nice people as we explored some neighborhoods in Miami. Excited to start to get the feel for what it might be like down here!

We’ve been checking out Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Miami Shores, the Beach and of course Edgewater where the majority of our friends live! So excited to spend some more time this weekend learning about all the different gems in each of these areas in Miami. I’m really loving these jungle vibes in the Grove. Does anyone else love driving and seeing new neighborhoods and houses? In my next life (or side hustle 🤷🏼‍♀️) I’m moving into real estate! I have always loved it and can’t wait to hopefully one day build a house of our own. I have my ideas saved and ready 😂
